What kinds of distributors does Distribution One serve?

Specialty wholesale distributors: fasteners, janitorial/sanitation, foodservice equipment, industrial supply, bearings and power transmission, plumbing/HVAC parts, paper packaging, and similar verticals. The workflows assume high SKU counts, technical product information, multi-branch operations, and custom order requirements.

How is ERP-ONE+ different from DDI System (Inform ERP)?

Both are Advantive distribution ERPs. ERP-ONE+ is designed for fastener, JanSan, foodservice equipment, and industrial supply distributors — verticals where custom part numbers, kitting, and large catalog management are central. DDI System (Inform ERP) is built around HVAC, plumbing, and electrical supply distribution, where counter sales, contractor pricing, and demand forecasting are the primary requirements. The Advantive sales team can match your vertical to the right product.

Does Distribution One include EDI?

Yes. EDI connectivity is a configuration step, not a custom integration project. Common trading-partner profiles are pre-built. API services are also available for custom connections.

Can we add a B2B eCommerce portal?

Yes. Distribution One's integrated eCommerce module provides a branded distributor storefront with live inventory, contract pricing, backorder visibility, and self-service customer portals. Commerce Vision (also an Advantive product) is available for more fully-featured B2B eCommerce requirements.

Does ERP-ONE+ connect to Amazon?

Yes. Amazon Connectivity for Distributors syncs your catalog and orders between ERP-ONE+ and your Amazon seller account. The integration handles order import and inventory updates.

Is Distribution One available in the cloud or only on-premise?

Both. ERP-ONE+ is available as a cloud-hosted deployment and as an on-premise installation. Cloud deployment is managed by Advantive; on-premise runs on customer infrastructure. The feature set is the same across both.

Is implementation handled by Advantive or by a partner?

Advantive provides direct implementation services for all brands. A named implementation lead is assigned at kickoff and stays with the project through go-live. Partner-led implementations are available for select brands when a customer prefers an existing systems integrator.

How does this product connect to Advantive ONE?

Advantive ONE extends each brand with cross-system intelligence — surfacing patterns across your ERP, MES, quality, and warehouse data. It runs as a layer on top of your product, not a replacement. Customers on a current support contract are eligible.

What does the support contract include?

Standard support covers software updates, the customer portal (knowledge base + ticketing), and the Advantive support team during business hours in your region. Premium tiers add dedicated customer success, extended SLA coverage, and 24/7 critical-incident response.
